4. At what age should my child first come to the dentist?
It is usually not necessary before age 3 unless you notice something unusual when you are helping them brush their teeth. Look for dark stains or bleeding gums. A small flashlight will come in handy. We recommend bringing your child with you when you have your teeth cleaned so they can learn that visiting the dentist will be a fun experience.
